Swallow-tailed Hummingbird - Eupetomena macroura
With up to 16.5 cm long and 17.8 cm wingspan, Eupetomena macroura (Apodiformes - Trochilidae) is one of the largest hummingbirds in the world.
As its common name suggests, the Swallow-tailed Hummingbird, has long forked tail, and exhibits a beautiful coloration pattern with blue, purple, green, white, black and brown. While widespread in South America, the main range of the species is the Caatinga and Cerrado of Brazil.
